Charity golf day a pipeline to success

Matthews Kids with Cancer certificate

Matthews recently contributed to a charity golf day for Kids with Cancer Foundation. The day, held by Iplex Pipelines Australia, raised $110,010.

Kids with Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organisation that’s donated more than $15.2 million to 10 hospitals as well as countless families.

Being a family business, we’re keen to give back to the community.

And what better way than to support the efforts of our customers? Iplex Pipelines is Kids with Cancer Foundation’s first corporate partner. We thought their idea of a golf day was a really good way to fundraise, as well as being enjoyable — for those that play golf well, that is!

They put the day together really well, and it was terrific.

Kids with Cancer Foundation is the largest-ever donor to Sydney Children’s Hospital, with $6m to its The Kids Cancer Centre. The foundation is also a founder of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (Sydney), as well as a founding patron of the Children’s Cancer Centre at Victoria’s Monash Children’s Hospital, providing the total funding to build and fit-out.

Some charities touch you in a certain way, and we were very happy to contribute to Iplex’s fund raising for this cause.
